Where Nature and Wonder Meet

Formerly located in downtown Milwaukee’s Washington Park, the 200 acre Milwaukee County Zoo houses over 2,500 animals including mammals, birds, reptiles and fish. The zoo also contains 21 bonobos, a highly endangered animal found exclusively in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
