Milwaukee Wave Soccer History.
Founded in 1984, the Milwaukee Wave is one of the city’s well-loved sports teams. The Wave has played at the Milwaukee Auditorium and Bradley Center.The team currently plays at the U.S. Cellular arena. During the 2008-2009 season, the Milwaukee Wave joined the Xtreme Soccer League (XSL) with plans for a possible switch to the National Indoor Soccer League (NISL). [Top]

The Milwaukee Wave is the first indoor soccer team to win 500 regular season games. The 2008-2009 season marks the franchise’s 1,000th game and 25 anniversary.
